Outside In observes the relationship between nature and the domestic through the passing of life and time. In the tradition of observing and preserving nature (photographically), this series records the subject and places it into the domestic landscape. The images explore the relationship between subject and object, reflecting on what they each symbolize and how they can, if at all, co-exist. Visually this can be read as a portrayal of man’s impact on nature and the desire to bring the natural world into the domestic environment.
